How does buying gift cards from My Homeschool Rewards benefit me?
When you buy gift cards from My Homeschool Rewards, a percentage is donated from the merchant directly to you. These donations are tracked and payments are issued quarterly to you.
Are My Homeschool Rewards gift cards the same gift cards that you can purchase at a store?
Yes. The only difference is that when purchased through My Homeschool Rewards, you will receive a donation from the merchant.
Does the value of the card decrease to cover the donation?
No. When you purchase a $25 gift card, it is worth the full face value. There is nothing deducted from the value of the card.
Are There Any Additional Costs To Me?
The only additional charges are shipping charges. You will be charged $1.08 or less per order for shipping. The higher the order, the lower the shipping cost.
Am I obligated to participate after trying the program out?
No. You can participate as much or as little as you like.
Is there a minimum order quantity to participate?
No. There is no minimum order quantity or dollar amount required to participate.
How will I know how much I have earned from my purchases?
You are able to log on to myhomeschoolrewards.com and click on "my account". You will find a list of all of your purchases and earnings. You'll also receive a purchase summary with your order that shows the donation earned from each purchase.
Do I have to do anything to get started?
How often do I get a check for the contributions earned?
A check will be mailed out a check each quarter.
When will I receive my gift cards once I order?
You should receive the gift cards in approximately 3-10 business days or less from the time your order is received.
What if I don’t see a particular merchant I would like to purchase gift cards from?
If you'd like to request a merchant fill in the “Suggest a Merchant” box on your order form or email info@myhomeschoolrewards.com.
Why can’t I pay by credit card?
Credit card transactions may cost as much as 3% of the purchase. Since a donation is created with each purchase, we are unable accept credit cards as a form of payment. By paying with a check or ACH withdrawal from your checking account, we can save the transaction fees that credit card companies charge and pass the savings on to you.
Do the gift cards expire?
Each merchant has different terms and conditions listed on the back of the gift card for your review. Prior to purchase, you may visit the card-issuing merchant website to view any expiration rules or restrictions. Most of the gift cards that we carry do not have expiration dates.
What if I have problems with my order?
My Homeschool Rewards has customer service representatives available to help from 8am-4pm CST. Please call 800-514-1891 for assistance. If you have a problem with a gift card that you've received that does not have a balance, please do not throw the gift card away. Contact us with the number on the card so that we may contact the merchant directly.
**Refunds/Returns/Exchanges: Order discrepancies, delivery issues, refund/exchange requests, or other problems with orders must be presented within 45 days of the order date. Returned gift card orders must have the original face value at the time of purchase on the gift card when returned. If returned gift cards have a value less than the face value at the time of sale, the customer is liable for the difference and may be charged a fee in accordance with the discrepancy. Due to the nature of gift cards and their inherent value, gift card returns, exchanges or requests for a re-distribution can not be made after the 45 day service period.
